Spring to early autumn
The most reliable window. Dry weather and mild temperatures suit nearly every surface.
Resin
Needs a dry surface and suitable temperatures to cure properly, so it is best in warmer, dry spells.
Tarmac
Should not be laid in rain, and works best when it is not too cold.
Concrete
Frost damages fresh concrete, so avoid very cold weather.
Block paving and gravel
The most flexible. They can usually be laid in colder, drier weather.
Booking
Good contractors book up for summer, so ask early. See how long a driveway takes.
